My Spicy chicken curry is really to the spicy lovers,goes well with Ghee rice ,Appam or Ari Oratti. For kids you can limit the spice level in red chilly.

My spicy chicken curry is simple recipe, we just need few basic raw ingredients but the taste is truly mouth watering with very appetizing. Let me know how it turns out for you after trying it. Hope everyone in your family likes it….
Here goes our main ingredients
Ingredients for grinding:
- Bay leaf -1
- Cinnamon-2 sticks
- Cardamom -4
- Fennel seeds -1 tbsp
- Coriander seeds-1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds -1 tbsp
- Black pepper-2 tsp
- Red chilly-8 nos
- Along with I have taken
- Chicken -1 kg
- 4 onion -2 with sliced and 2 with chopped
- Turmeric powder-1 tsp
- Chilly powder-1 tbsp
- Coriander powder-2 tbsp
- Ginger -garlic paste -3 tbsp
Step 1 : Heat a heavy bottomed pan or kadai and add the ingredients “to grind” with adding 2 cups of water and boil it for 5 minutes.
Step 2 : Extract the and keep aside. Grind the masalas to semi smooth paste.
Steps 3 : Now add the extracted water along with 4 tbsp coconut oil
Step 4 : Add chicken,turmeric ,chilly,coriander powders and ginger garlic paste.
Step 5 : Add salt and mix well. Cook it for 2 whistles.
Step 6 : Now heat a pan ,add 1 tbsp of fennel seed.
Step 7 : Add the chopped onions and saute until golden brown color.
Step 8 : Add the chopped tomatoes ,saute till the raw smell leaves.(2 min)
Step 9 : Once done with tomatoes, add grounded paste. Saute it for 5 minutes or till the oil separates.
Step 10 : Add the cooked chicken with water and cook it for 10 minutes.
Step 11 : Now garnish with coriander leaves and add silted green chilies. Here i have served i with ghee rice.
